Strawberry Sundae Smoothie

Strawberry smoothies are hard to beat, but we've done it! Adding cocoa and peanuts puts a tasty twist on this all-time favorite. It may look like dessert, but it's full of goodness to keep you going all morning.

Ingredients

1 12 cups (380ml) milk, reduced fat (or dairy-free alternative)

12 cup (60g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)

1 medium banana frozen

2 cups (280g) fresh strawberries or frozen

4-6 ice cubes

12 tsp cocoa powder (or cacao powder)

4 tsp unsalted peanuts crushed

Methodbased on 1 serving

Blend milk, protein powder, banana, strawberries and ice on high until smooth and creamy.

Pour into a glass, dust with cocoa and top with peanuts to serve.
 

Note: You may need to add a little water depending on the thickness of your protein powder.
