Launching August 24, Centr 6: Phase II is the long-awaited follow up to our first ever program, Centr 6.
Luke Zocchi, Ashley Joi and Da Rulk are back together with all new moves in the program format proven to get big results: 6 exercises, 6 rounds, 6 days a week for 6 weeks.
In Centr 6: Phase II your trainers will show you how to harness the power of consistency and repetition to push your training to the next level. Repetition between rounds and weeks enables you to master the moves, build strength and increase stamina and makes it easy to track your progress from the start through to the end of the 6-week program.
If you have completed the original Centr 6 program, Phase II delivers the brand new moves you’ve been waiting for. Let’s get the lowdown.
How does it work?
If you were on board for the original, you know this story. If you’re new, let’s recap it for you!
The 6 exercises, 6 rounds, 6 days a week format is inspired by the group training Chris Hemsworth finds most effective and enjoyable. Using bodyweight and weighted moves, it’s the “anytime, anywhere” style of training that Chris and Luke switch to when they’re on the road and equipment is limited – so both the original and Phase II can be done at home or the gym.
The reason that there are now two Centr 6 programs is that repetition works. If you haven’t done it before, you can start with the original 6-week program, then take on the fresh variety of moves in Phase II and push your progress even further. Or do them in reverse – it's really up to you.
Centr 6: Phase II will strip training back to basics, catering for all levels of fitness with a combination of cardio and strength work to deliver big results. And you can share the journey with our worldwide community by joining in from day one.
How is Centr 6: Phase II different to the original Centr 6?
Expect a brand new set of moves, new music, and an enhanced journey through the program. Audio cues will keep you moving smoothly through rounds.
Plus your favorite trainers from the original are back for more – Luke, Ashley, and Da Rulk will coach you through the new moves and keep you laughing through the burn. After the first round, your lead trainer for each workout will keep you focused with motivation and tips on form or modifications.
What equipment do I need?
The moves may be different, but you still only need the basics: dumbbells, workout mat, your sweat towel, and a drink bottle.
What level should I do?
As with the original Centr 6, your trainers will be demonstrating Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced moves – all on your screen at the same time. This means you can switch up a level if you’re smashing a workout, or drop back where required.
We recommend leveling up from Centr 6: if you completed the original on Beginner or Intermediate, aim to do Centr 6: Phase II at the next level up and push yourself to new heights.
If you completed the original on Advanced, this is your chance to tackle the new moves you’ve been craving while fine-tuning your form, maximizing your intensity and weights, and consolidating your results.
