How to track your Centr progress with Apple Health & Google Fit

Centr Team

You train. You find calm. But if you don’t track it, does it really count? Tracking your progress with Centr just got a whole lot easier: you can now record your workouts and meditations using Apple Health or Google Fit.

Tracking your workouts is a great way to stay motivated and level up. You’ll see where you’re improving (because the scales don’t tell the full story!), where you can lift your game, and when you’re ready for more.

Whatever device is on your wrist or in your pocket, check out our FAQs below to get tracking and make your movements count!

For Apple Users

We’ve improved our Apple integration so you can track your workouts and meditations whether you have an Apple Watch or not.

How do I connect Centr to Apple Health?

If you're a new member using iOS, you'll be prompted to 'Keep Track with Apple Health' before your first workout. Simply tap 'Connect to Apple Health' to turn on permissions.

As an existing member, simply follow these steps to connect Centr to Health on your iPhone:

  1. Open the Health app

  2. Tap ‘Show all health data’

  3. Tap ‘Workouts’

  4. Scroll down and tap ‘Show All Data’

  5. Tap the most recently recorded Centr workout to view

How do I see my Centr meditations in Apple Health?

Your meditations and Sleep Visualizations will be recorded as Mindful Minutes within Health. To see how you’ve been taking care of your mind, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the Health app

  2. Tap ‘Show all health data’

  3. Tap ‘Mindful Minutes’

  4. Scroll down and tap ‘Show All Data’

  5. Tap the most recently recorded Centr meditation to view

What workouts will the app record?

All workouts you take on within Centr will be automatically recorded in Apple Health, and will contribute to your Apple Watch activity rings if you wear one to track your fitness. The style of each workout will also be recorded, i.e. HIIT, MMA, Muscle Building.

For Android Users

Google Fit has recently been updated to better track your health and fitness, now all it needs is all your Centr activity!

How do I pair Centr with Google Fit?

If you’re a new member, you'll be prompted to 'Keep Track with Google Fit' before your first workout.

As an existing member, follow these steps to connect Centr to the Google Fit app:

  1. Head into your Centr Settings

  2. Click on ‘Account details’

  3. Under ‘Permissions’ toggle on Google Fit

  4. A permission confirmation will pop up on your screen – select ‘Allow’

If you wish to turn it off at any point, simply head back into Settings and toggle off.

What will it record?

All your Centr workouts, meditations and sleep visualizations will be automatically recorded in Google Fit – you can then explore your results in the app.

Note: only your active time in workouts will be recorded, so if you complete half of a 40-minute workout then exit the session, you will see 20 minutes recorded in Google Fit.

Why can't I see the Google Fit option in my Centr Settings?

Check to ensure your device is running version 2.6.0 of the Centr app.

If you are running on an earlier version, you will need to update the app to be able to sync with Google Fit. Once you’ve updated Centr, follow the steps above to connect to Google Fit.
