Ginger, Apple & Banana Smoothie

Ginger is loaded with antioxidants and, when it's paired with apple and spinach in this revitalizing smoothie, adds a zingy, delicious flavor.

1 1⁄2 cups (380ml) milk, reduced fat (or dairy-free alternative)
1⁄2 cup (60g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
1⁄4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 cups (80g) baby spinach leaves
1 banana (large) frozen
1 apple roughly chopped
2 tsp fresh ginger chopped or 1/4 tsp ground ginger
3-4 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients on high until smooth and creamy and serve immediately.
Note: You may need to add a little water depending on the thickness of your protein powder.
