Banana & Walnut Green Smoothie

This goodness-packed smoothie is boosted by the power of hemp seeds: they contain fiber, healthy unsatured fats and are a complete protein making them a great addition to a vegetarian or plant-based diet, promoting brain and heart health.

1 cup (250ml) water
1⁄2 cup (130ml) oat milk (or dairy alternative)
1⁄2 cup (60g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
1 cup (40g) baby spinach leaves
1 medium banana sliced & frozen
2 pitted medjool dates
8 walnuts
2 tsp hemp seeds
4 tsp coconut flakes optional
Blend all ingredients, except coconut, on high until smooth and creamy. (You may need to add a little water depending on the thickness of your protein powder.)
Transfer to a glass and top with coconut flakes if using, to serve.
