It's not just a snack, it's a childhood flashback! This seriously simple Puffed Rice Slice takes just 4 ingredients and mere minutes to make.

Ingredients

18 cup (20ml) maple syrup (honey or rice malt syrup)

18 cup (25g) almond butter (or other nut butter)

1 12 thin rice cakes crushed

18 cup (12 12g) 70% dark chocolate melts (or dairy-free alternative)

Line a 21 x 11cm shallow dish with baking paper.

Combine maple syrup and almond butter in a small saucepan and gently heat to combine. Alternatively, microwave to combine.

Stir crushed rice cakes through combined mixture and press into prepared dish.

Place chocolate pieces in a non-plastic bowl. Microwave for 1 minute, then 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted. Or place bowl over a saucepan with a small amount of simmering water and stir until melted. Spread evenly over mixture.

Transfer to the freezer for 2 hours to set then cut into 8 equal serves.
