This is a high-carb smoothie created specifically to fuel training for HYROX or other high-performance athletic events with increased carbohydrate demands. Packed with energy, it will provide the extra boost needed for optimal high-intensity performance.

2 cups (500ml) orange juice, store-bought (no added sugar)
1 cup (160g) instant white rice
4 tbs vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
2 bananas frozen
1 cup (180g) pineapple fresh or frozen
1 lime juiced
1⁄2 tsp ground turmeric
4-6 ice cubes
Blend all ingredients on high until smooth and creamy and serve immediately.
Note: You may need to add a little water depending on the thickness of your protein powder.
