1 cup (250ml) water
1⁄2 cup (125ml) coconut milk (tinned) unsweetened
1⁄2 cup rolled oats (or brown rice flakes or quinoa flakes if gluten free)
1⁄3 cup (40g) vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
1 medium banana roughly chopped
1 tsp ground turmeric
1⁄2 tsp ground ginger plus extra to serve
1⁄8 tsp black pepper pinch, or to taste
5-6 ice cubes
Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth.
Pour into glasses and dust with extra ginger to serve.
