2 pitted medjool dates pre-soaked in boiling water
2⁄3 cup (160ml) almond milk (or dairy alternative)
1 medium banana frozen
4 tbs vanilla protein powder (or natural protein powder)
10 whole almonds
4 large ice cubes
Combine all ingredients, including date soaking water, in a blender and blend until smooth. Divide between glasses to serve.
Note: You may need to add a little water depending on the thickness of your protein powder.
